Our use of that information is subject to your instructions, data protection law and our duty of confidentiality. Your information will be held in paper and/or electronic form. Your data is held within the EU. We will retain your information for time periods as set out by industry regulators, following this point any paper or electronic information kept by us will be destroyed unless you have given us consent to keep this information for a longer period of time.
Please be aware that our work for you may require us to forward your information to third parties such as awarding bodies (for qualification courses only) or venues and organisations who have organised the class or course you have attended. Our practice may be audited or checked by our accountants or our regulator, or by other organisations. All such third parties are required to maintain confidentiality in relation to your data.
You have a right of access under data protection law to obtain the personal data that we hold about you, subject to some exceptions. If you would like to access this data please contact the business owner in writing stating the data which you require. We ask that you begin your letter with 'Data Protection Act' or 'Subject Access Request'. We aim to keep personal data correct and up to date. Please let us know if you believe the information we hold about you needs to be corrected or updated.
